                                               SEPTEMBER 2014

We have two new videos up about our Sticking Up For Chldren efforts.

Aristide Phillips, the 21-year-old former

Editor of Southern University's online and print newspaper, directed both videos.

The first concerns the Kuumba Arts Institute at the Ashe Cultural Arts center in new Orleans' Central City.

"Kuumba", as you'll see and hear, offers programs to children aged 6 to 16. They learn, create and perform. African drumming, creative writing, graphic arts, film and video, and self-defense are among the disciplines that students learn at Kuumba during Summer weekdays and on weekends year-round.

Check out the brilliant colors and sensitive positivity at Kuumba!

Aristide also recorded and edited a piece about the Music & Arts Day that Sticking Up For Children shared with

Make Music NOLA on July 12.
