Many great drummers, other musicians, artists and educators have supported Sticking Up For Children in our first year.

They've donated drumsticks. They've signed drumsticks. They've made drumstick-as-art. They've purchased drumstick-as-art. They've contributed in myriad ways.

Please find in the first row, left to right: Cyril Neville, Johnny Vidacovich, Yonrico Scott, Stanton Moore, Idris Muhammad.

Second row: Alfred Roberts, Gaynielle Neville, Eve Pell, Sandra Nkake', Herreast Harrison.

Third row: Cherice Harrison-Nelson, Yasiin Bey, Jeffrey Poitier, Jonathan Richman, Evan Christopher.

Fourth row: Donald Harrison, Pedrito Martinez, Alexey Marti, Fanfan, Lindsay Rust.

Fifth row: Steve Campbell, John Paris, Hamid Drake, Luther Gray, Steve Smith.

Children and parents make up the largest number of supporters of Sticking Up For Children. Hundreds have participated in our New Orleans' Music & Arts Days.

A great deal more can happen. The brilliance of drumsticks-as-art produced by children in New Orleans and Port-au-Prince (see examples below) is just one sign of the astonishing creations and exchanges that can go forward.

We urge you to contribute, to create, and to contact us as to how you may want to increase the efforts and successes of

Sticking Up For Children. Here we go! Here we grow!
